Palma de Mallorca

This year, my tanning vacation was lazily spent in Spain, at the island called Palma de Mallorca. Me and Jonny had the coolest hotel in Magaluf, which probably was the most mature place in the whole area, considering that 1 minute away you found drunk British and Swedish youths crawling down the streets. It was rather interesting seeing people in a party mood like this, as well as all the half naked ladies working here. I was tricked into thinking I was in the UK now and then.

On our way to Hahn airport

I really loved our hotel. They played some really good deep house tunes all day long. It was really refreshing waking up to the vibes from the speakers outside our balcony, as well as seeing people surf on artificial waves in the hotel area.

It didn’t take us more than 3 minutes to walk down to the beach- which was perfect!

It was rather difficult finding good places to eat, and even more difficult finding Spanish food, but now and then we managed to find some delicious meals. I also discovered how delicious Koppaberg Strawberry and Lime is. My new favorite summer drink <3

Luxembourg

Yet again Jonny is in Luxembourg at his parents’ house for the summer vacation. Luxembourg is so beautiful in the summer and I absolutely love spending time there. I didn’t really take a lot of pictures here either, but I’ll show you what I got.

Kine’s Wedding

Here are some pictures from a wedding I had on Friday. My friend, whom I’ve been a classmate with since first year of university got married. Really happy for her and I feel so honored to be her wedding photographer.

It took us a little while before we became really good friends. Both of us were pretty scared of each other. No need to be scared of this girl tho, she’s the best.

Drawing update

Been doing some art this weekend, so I’m showing you the result here :)

jonny2 copyThis one took me about an hour. Used a reference picture of Jonny painting this one. I tried to go for Artgem’s dynamic style, but I must admit that it’s hard letting go of the control and all. So hard making my paintings look dynamic.

This is the work in progress from me and Anne Marte’s collaboration. I’ve sent the drawing back to her agian so she can continue. I think we’re starting to reach the end of this very soon. So fun to work with! :D On this version I’ve painted a lot on the forest, water and stones etc. Looking forward seeing what Anne Marte does to it next.

Here are some earlier updates from Anne Marte’s blog:

Krakow

After spending some days at Jakub’s grandparent’s house, our journey headed towards Krakow. We woke up the day we were gonna leave, getting served some vodka shots to cure our hangover from the day before. I found that pretty funny to be honest. My grandparents would never give me that 7 am in the morning.

We stayed at a hostel close to the old city in Krakow. It wasn’t really a pretty hotel, but it was fairly ok, and not too many people. I was really surprised by how beautiful Krakow was. Visually it was pretty awesome!

The weather was really great as well, and the weather was perfect for some lovely photographs of this city. Pictures really can’t justify how beautiful Krakow is.

Of course they had a castle in Krakow- which made me happy! I didn’t take too many pictures of it really, as it was on the hillside and we thought about going up there the following day.

After a rather nice walk through the city, we found our way back to the hostel where we met some lovely Swedish guys that we ended up partying with.
