Dubronik is so beautiful. Not having a proper camera when spending time here is a shame. I’m not saying that I didn’t, because I did. I hardly go anywhere with my dear Canon 5D. I somehow wish that I could travel without the weight of it though, and not being obsessed about taking pictures of everything I see. Sometimes it feels like I cannot truly relax being in the moment as I am too busy with capturing the moment instead.
One of the days in Dubrovnik, we decided to take a little tour in the Old City, where parts of the well-known Game of Thrones series were shot. Also called King’s Landing. It was really funny to see some of the scenes from the series. I didn’t even know they had used the Old Town as a part of the model for King’s Landing. That just made the vacation better.
The food in Dubrovnik is really good. Is is not that expensive either, although my friend told me that Dubrovnik is the most expensive city in Croatia.
What I really like about Croatia is that the sales people are not such a pain in the ass as they are in other countries. Have you ever tried spending time at the beach in Spain? Every second people want to sell you massage, fanta, cola, fruit, sunglasses and so on. That does not happen here. People leave you alone. I really appreciate that.
